I think it is awesome and very advanced from what we had as high school students. This program would be very benefitial to the students who are not so good taking notes and organizing them like i was. I have always had a hard time taking notes and this would have helped me throughout school.
Some writing activities that would make the best use of inspiration are making outlines and mapping your ideas for writing a paper. To have the students help each other out during writing you can pair the students up and make suggestions to each others paper. Students can also brainstorm together on inspiration and make thier own outline and maps.

I agree with what you are saying, and I wish I would have had this in high school as well. Inspiration would be very helpful in organizing notes and difficult concepts.
ReplyDeleteI also think your thoughts on pairing students up to brainstorm for essays are great. I think talking about ideas with peers is a good way to get new insights on a topic and make you think about things you hadn't thought of before.
Like I said in my blog, I still think that good, old fashioned group work is best when it comes to getting kids involved in editing. However, I also think that posting assignments up on MB's and Blogs also helps get the community involved in editing. Expand it past the classroom and such.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right when you say this would be good for students who aren't very good at takign notes. By being able to add pictures and videos, it would aid in helping students learn the information and have visuals to attach the information to
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you on us not having something like this available in high school. I'm one the students you talk about that have trouble taking notes and something like this website would take a load off of my shoulders.
